 727 Cosmetics, one of Japan’s finest and oldest brands from Osaka, is now in the Philippines! Last May 8, 727 Cosmetics held their Make Up Bloggers Night event at French Tips in SM Aura wherein the guests all had their pampering hand and foot spa session!  During the event, 727 cosmetics products were introduced to us. We were blessed to try them out firsthand and to have some makeup products given to us to take home and review!   What I got to take home are 727 Cosmetics make-up base such as primer, foundation, concealers, and an eyebrow pencil. These are the kinds of products that people should invest in for if you have a flawless foundation application, the rest of your makeup such as your eye shadow, blush, etc will be looking smooth as well! Here are my thoughts about them:  Quante Make Up Primer B01 It has a velvety matte finish, a smooth and fine texture that is easy to blend on the skin. It has to be quickly yet evenly applied on the skin for it kind of dries and gets absorbed by the skin easily.  My skin is combination/oily but after using the primer, it kind of blurred out some of my large pores and blemishes and made my face look a bit matte but still with a dewy finish. And also after road-testing it the other day, it makes the makeup even more long-lasting! I applied my makeup around 3:30pm and when I got home at 10pm, my base makeup is still intact with no retouch at all! Yes, after all the sweat I had under the humid weather, it still adhered to my face! I waited until 1am before washing my face and by this time, I have noticed that I am in need of a retouch.  Sept deux Sept Moisture Cream Foundation B02 This liquid foundation evens out the skin tone, easily blends and smoothly applies on the skin. It has a buildable coverage that can be adjusted according to your wants and needs, it could be sheer if you have a flawless or almost perfect complexion or more opaque if you have uneven skin tone and some blemishes.  Applying this foundation made my skin look more flawless. It was able to hide the redness around my nose and cheeks but I have noticed that some dark pimple scars and my dark under eye were mildly concealed yet still a bit visible. By this time, my face looked more matte.  Sept deux Sept Whitening Concealer B01 This liquid concealer is lightweight, easily-blendable, and has a sheer to medium coverage that effectively conceals dark under eyes. It can also be used as a highlighter (without the shimmers) if applied onto the middle of the forehead, the cheekbones, brow bones, above the lips and chin.  The whitening concealer looks subtle on the face if blended really well.  Sept deux Sept Spots CoverB04 This cream concealer has indeed a heavy coverage that effectively camouflages dark acne spots and blemishes even with just a dab of the product. The shade that I got though is a bit dark for my skintone BUT it is perfect in hiding my flaws well. The secret to making blemishes look like they went out of your face already is by blending the foundation, concealer, and setting powder really well!  In the photo above, I still have some blurry dark acne spots on my cheeks but after covering it with the spots concealer, it doesn't look obvious anymore. I could have had applied more but I don't want to look too "masked" if you know what I mean.  Sept deux Sept Foundation II Powder B05 I love the formulation of this powder foundation! It absorbs oil, sets the makeup base perfectly giving you a matte, full coverage finish even by just patting on a tiny amount of product. The only downside though is that I got a shade too dark for my face, so what I did is I just sparingly applied it with the sponge that came along with the packaging, on areas where I need to cover my acne spots and blemishes. On the other areas, I just swiped my whole face quickly with a powder brush.  On the right, my face looks a bit tanned and yet no flaws are visible anymore. Anyway, to fix it, I relied on using matte and some shimmery highlighters to brighten some of the areas that needs to be enhanced.  Sept deux Sept Eyebrow Pencil BR2 I got a grayish brown shade which is perfect for dark-haired gals like me. It is VERY CLOSE to the natural color of my brows so it gave me natural-looking brows that looks more polished.  First, I lined the outer edges of my brows, filled it in by using pencil strokes that mimics the natural hair growth, then blended it with a spoolie to completely fill the inner part of my brows and to soften the overall look.  Here is how my finished makeup look! My base makeup stayed perfectly intact for 8 hours, a retouch is needed afterwards yet it doesn't look "hulas"or too haggard.
