As a lipstick, the shade Mocha Frappe is fully matte, it's a bit drying on the lips so prepping it first is a must. 

Red Velvet, Macaroon Kiss, and Plum Pie are on the creamy satiny side, they are really moisturizing on the lips, however they tend to bleed outside the lip lines so use a lipliner first (or if you are going for a Kbeauty look, just apply on the middle of your lips then blend outwards using your finger). 

Sugar Cookies and Sprinkle Tart are creamy matte which is my favorite because it isn't drying, stays put and doesn't bleed. 

Actually I am not 100% sure if their formulation were made that way to be different from each other or if that is just how natural lipatick products are made.

As a blush and eyeshadow, it sticks for a longer time when applied over your liquid foundation or bb cream then being set with a pressed powder afterwards.

Sprinkle Tart has a touch of peachy nude that compliments light to dark skin tones. Soothes and moisturizes chapped and dry lips. Wear anytime!

Red Velvet - is a cherry red shade that empowers your lips. Make your cheeks pop! Be carefree and be wild. Stand out! 

Sugar Cookies - is a shade of pink creates “I’m innocent yet sexy-look”! The shade of pink that it has is a deeper muted version of fuchsia.

Having presentable-looking eyebrows is a must for me, however, since I became a mom of two and without a yaya, I could barely have myself pampered nor fix my own brows like the way that I used to when I was still single. This is why, I make it a point to have a pampering sesh at least once a month! One of the services that I look forward to is having a brow waxing session monthly to keep them groomed.. 

I had been to Benefit Brow Bar twice already (scheduled every month for maintenance) so I will be talking about those sessions. I was asked what look for my brows would I like to have at the end of brow waxing session: contoured brows or feathered brows. On my first visit, I chose the feathered style and on my second, the contoured brows look. 

Above was my before and after during the first brow wax session last month. 

I had an eyebrow microblading and microshading session done last June 2017 but after more than a year, 80% of it has already faded. There is still some shade left that still gives my brows some shape but of course, I still need to use makeup to fill it up to make it look polished. You may also notice that my brows look bushy with stray hairs around. On the right photo, you can see a more polished brows. 

What Celine did was waxed the stray hairs to give my brows a nice shape. Afterwards, she used Benefit brow makeup products to beautify them. 

A brow wax session last for an estimate of 30 to 40 minutes.

First, the eyebrow area will be cleansed and sanitized. 
Second, markings will be drawn around your brows to achieve the perfect arc. 
Third, Benefit Cosmetics exclusive eyebrow wax (not for sale), will be applied on the stray hairs before pulling them away with a waxing paper strip.
Fourth, their exclusive Aloe Soothing Gel will be applied on the waxed area to minimize redness, pain, and itchiness. 
Fourth, the gel will be wiped outand let the skin dry. 
Fifth, eyebrows will be groomed and filled in. You may choose a look that you want either feathered brows or contoured brows. 

On my second brow wax session this month of January, I chose to have a contoured brows look, for a change. I like how Celine did it in a way that it matches my red lips and red top! Haha! It made me look bolder, more fierce and polished.

Before the procedure, it is a must to keep your eyebrow area clean and makeup-free. A brow wax session could be painful for some but for me it only felt like a tingle, no big deal. In a score of 1-10, I rate the pain level a score of 4. It could be that I have a high pain threshold or maybe I got used to shaving and plucking my eyebrows in the past.

After the brow wax session, you have to wait for 4-6 hours before washing the eyebrow area with soap and water. 

Benefit Cosmetics have LOTS of eyebrow makeups to choose from. For a feathered brows look, the Fool Proof Brow Powder and 3D Brow Tones mascara was used on me. But for the contoured brows look, the Brow Contour Pro pen was used, one pen contains two shades of brow pomade and two shades of cream stick concealer! Wow!

Let's talk about the packaging. In stores, you can see that the crayon-like-shaped lipsticks are encased in a transparent plastic over a thin cardboard. Although it makes the product inside easy to see, I think that this part is unneccessary because once you open it to get the product inside, the outer packaging loses its purpose and it becomes nothing else but trash. If I could make a suggestion, a paper box would be better to protect the casing from scratches.

When it comes to the sturdy casing itself, I like that it is shaped like a crayon and that its color is similar to the shade of the lipstick inside it - easier to distinguish that way! 

Its crayon-like tip makes it easier to apply the lipstick all over the lips. No fuss! 

The sticker label with the shade names can be seen at the bottom of the stick. The expiration date, net weight, etc can be found there as well. 

The Lip Define Matte Matic Lipsticks have a buildable medium coverage that can be sheered out. One layer gives a sheer finish but adding more layers will make it look opaque on the lips. I like that it isn't too highly pigmented in just one application because I tend to have a hard time removing them when I overline my lips accidentally.

It applies smoothly and feels light on the lips - like I am not wearing lipstick at all! It's not drying on the lips even if its finish is matte. It stays long for 1-3hours without having oily and greasy meals. 

As you can see, all the shades look flattering on my complexion, except for Buff Brown that seems too cool for my neutral warm skin tone. I think those who have cool to neutral skin tones will suit this better.

Everything else are stunning in a subtle way. It does not look flashy but it has an understated elegance that brightens one's face. It can be paired with either a smoky brown or black eyeshadow, or a no-makeup makeup look. These shades can be easily worn at day or at night.
