 Being with like-minded people who share the same passion as you do feels rejuvenating and fulfilling! At the AVP Bloggers' Party, I was able to meet individuals who also love writing, blogging, and socializing! This is an afternoon full of exciting games, pa-raffle and non-stop photo ops! Hahaha! Last month, she organized this year’s intimate gathering of select bloggers dubbed as “AVP BLOGGERS PARTY” held at THE PLANTATION Valero in Makati City. The Plantation Bar and Bistro The AVP Bloggers Party was held at The Plantation Bar and Bistro located in 102 Valero, Salcedo Village in Makati City offers popular comfort food in a cozy environment. This is a perfect place for those who want to unwind at night after a hard, long day at work, to chill their buddies and just hang out and eat some pulutan! One of the games that they had is a drinking game. The fastest person who gets to drink and finish the beer is the winner! Of course, hands down, me and the hubby won! Haha! I mean, that's one of the reasons why we were there, diba? To drink? Haha!

One of the best restaurants that I have tried in serving our local dishes is The Plantation Bar & Bistro in Valero, Makati City!  Me and my husband Jet attended one of my kumare's event, the AVP Bloggers Party which was celebrated here, and yes guys, alam kong babalik at babalik talaga kami dito when we go back in the area again. We may even bring some friends along the next time because if you want to drink and chill, they also serve some beer and other pulutan here!  Here are some of the dishes that we have tried during the event:  Spicy Spareribs — P195.00 The Plantation Valero’s specialty! Fried pork spareribs covered with spicy breading.  Oragon na Liempo — P270.00 Grilled pork belly with laing and pinakbet on the side. Definitely my husband's favorite! 🤩  Crispy Pata — P695.00 Deep-fried Grade-A pata, prepared with extra care to ensure crispiness. Best shared with friends!  Barbeque Spareribs This viand is definitely a must-try! With sweet and tangy sauce paired with mashed potato, you won't even ask for more. Best to share with friends, because I am telling you, the serving is kinda large! But unless, you wanna eat this solo, I won't stop you! Haha!  Kare-kare This peanut-based sauce with beef and veggies is really great on my tastebuds! I can eat this alone even without rice, that is how good it is! 
The Restaurant Opened in 2016 and the restaurant offers good Filipino dishes and they can accommodate 70-80 pax in their air-conditioned restaurant. They also have an alfresco that can accommodate 12 seating pax. If you are with friends, colleagues, and co-workers, you can spend the night unwinding in this place. Higly-recommended! 😊  I have always been interested in trying Korean skincare products since in my personal experience, they moisturize the skin without drying it out. For someone like me who is suffering from blemishes and hormonal acne once in a while, I really have to be careful of what I put on my skin and test them out which is why I haven't been blogging about skincare products much recently. I wanna finish each bottle before writing about them. One of the recent products that I have tried is from the Recell Me brand, a professional anti-aging skincare brand that produces products that aim to protect your skin from the harmful surroundings filled with fine dusts, UV rays, and stress, and to resolve all skin problems that women of all ages face and is created to restore the beauty that you have in your young and lively 20’s. BUBBLE POP PEELING GEL REVIEW: My personal observation: - the consistency of the product has gel-like texture which is easy to spread and is not sticky on the skin; - once rubbed on the skin, the dead epidermal skin cells are sloughed off immediately and they instantly turn into small clumps that I feel like were mixed along with product; - it leaves a silky film texture after washing it off. Do I recommend it? Yes I recommend it for those who have sensitive skin and cannot tolerate facial scrubs. But if you are someone who likes to use scrubs with stronger exfoliating properties, you may find this too mild for your liking. I personally like to use it every other day when I want my skin to feel extra clean. But once a week, I will definitely be using stronger facial scrubs for maintenance. The next item that I want to talk about is their Bano Baby Face Facial Mask and Anti-Oxidant Injection Facial Mask.  BANO BABY FACE INJECTION MASK Product Description: Adenosine - This ingredient is derived from yeast and functions as a soothing, skin restoring ingredient. Soybean Oil - A natural emollient that helps diminish wrinkles, reverse sun damage, and tighten sagging skin. Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 - Helps to combat signs of aging and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. BANO ANTI-OXIDANT INJECTION MASK Ingredients: Raspberry extract, chiotictic acid, blueberry extract, tocopheryl acetate, asai palm extract, Allantoin, Centella asiatica Extract, Bamboo Water, Hydrolyzed Collagen Product description: - Strong anti oxidant ingredient chiotic acid gives tired skin energy skin care. -11 chemical ingredients free (6 parabens, benzophenone, triethanolamine, benzyl alcohol, sorbic acid, benzoic acid) - Moisture soft fiber sheet gives high fit for active ingredients penetration.  MY PRODUCT REVIEW: I have been a regular user of facial sheet masks because I find them soothing, calming, and easy to use. I wear them every evening before I go to bed or in the morning while I am relaxing or doing my tasks. After 15-20 minutes of putting this on my face, I have noticed that my skin feels more rejuvenated and hydrated. It is mild on my skin, feels comfortable, and does not have any tingling sensation. Most people said that some Koreans use facial sheet masks everyday, but I have not tried that yet, but if I have more budget, I probably would, but for now 1-2x a week is manageable.
